A concrete fireplace surround, cast to fit your opening, for £1,200 supply only. It takes a frame up to 1300 mm wide and 1200 mm high, in any of our stock colours.

About this fireplace surround
At checkout, give us the opening size and your fire's model.
The fire's manual sets the gaps to the sides, the top and any shelf, so we draw the surround to those figures and you sign the drawing before we cast.
Each surround is made to order in West Sussex. We dispatch within 6 weeks of your order and email your delivery date.
Which finish?
Cream: straight from the mould, sealed. The deepest colour and a flat, even face.
Salt and pepper: diamond-finished to 800 grit, sealed. Fine sand shows through.
Both are sealed with SureCrete XS-327, a water-based polyurethane rated to 149°C.
Which colours can I order?
Any of our stock colours. Concrete darkens when it's wet, so judge a colour on a dry sample.
What do you get from a concrete surround?
The colour is in the concrete itself, not painted on, and every colour costs the same. It comes in the same colours as the worktops, so one material can run through the house.
Concrete doesn't burn. The sealer is rated by its maker to 149°C and is stain resistant to most household chemicals and food, so spilt tea wipes off. The ROKA 5-Year Guarantee covers the making.
Will my wall hold it?
Concrete is no heavier than granite or quartz at the same thickness. Most of a surround's weight is on the wall, so it is planned before the mould is made.
Your builder or installer chooses the fixings and confirms the wall can take it. A stud wall needs support behind it.
What's included?
The surround, sealed and ready to fit, delivered kerbside. Fixing and fitting are not included.
What does it cost in all?
The surround is £1,200. Delivery is £150 because it is over 1.2 m, so £1,350 in all.
What's the guarantee?
Five-year guarantee on the making: if a fault comes from how we cast it, we remake it in year one and repair it to year five. Send us a photo of the support when it's fitted.
Check your fireplace surround within 48 hours of delivery. It will match the size you ordered within ±3 mm. Report any crack, damage or fault with photos to hello@roka.studio in that time and we remake anything that fails the check. Terms of sale, section 4. This does not affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Can you fit it?
Yes, within about 50 miles of Small Dole, and further for the right job. Fitting is priced separately, once we've seen where it's going.

What size fire opening does it fit?

Can a concrete surround go round a wood burner?
Yes, as long as it keeps to the gaps in the stove's manual. Send the model and the surround is drawn to them. Your installer confirms it suits the stove.
How close can it sit to the fire?
Your stove or fire's manual sets that, not the surround. It gives the gap to the sides, the top and any shelf above, and the surround is drawn to those figures.
How long does it take?
