What does ROKA make?

Worktops first. Islands, hearths, fireplace surrounds and wall cladding are cast the same way, to your sizes and in any of 19 named colours.

On made-to-measure work, templating, delivery and fitting are quoted on top.

Stone is cut from a slab. Yours is cast in a mould made for your kitchen.

So the edges, corners and drainer grooves are made, not trimmed, and a long run or a waterfall end doesn’t have to meet at a joint. How a worktop is made

ROKA concrete sample tablets in every colour, from white and grey to charcoal, terracotta and red, laid on an oak slab
Sample tablets in both finishes. Cream above, Salt and pepper below.

Does it have to be grey?

No. There are 19 named colours in two finishes, from Chalk to Basalt and from Bone to Cotswold.

Or bring your own. Both mixes are formulated in the workshop, so a colour can be matched to a paint, a fabric or a sample you already have. A custom match costs more, because it takes trial mixes to get right.

Cream comes straight from the mould and is sealed, which gives the deepest colour and a flat, even face. Salt and pepper is honed to 800 grit, so a fine speckle of sand shows through.

The ROKA 5-Year Guarantee

Peace of mind is priceless.

Alkali-resistant glass fibre runs through almost every piece we cast, the mix is our own, and each piece is built stronger than the job needs.

If a piece we make fails through our fault in its first year, we remake it, and up to year five we repair it.

Questions people ask

What does a concrete worktop cost?

£850 a square metre up to 30mm thick, supply only. Thickness and cut-outs move the price, and the calculator on the cost page gives you a rough figure. Work out your price

Do concrete worktops crack?

It won't. Glass fibre runs through almost every piece we cast, the mix is our own, and your top sits on supports made to carry it. If one of ours cracks through our fault in its first year, we remake it. The full answer on cracking

Do concrete worktops stain with red wine?

The seal, SureCrete XS-327, is rated stain resistant to most household chemicals and food. Wipe spills up when you see them. Every sample is sealed the same way as a worktop, so you can try wine, lemon juice or oil on one at home before you decide. Caring for concrete

Can my kitchen units take the weight?

Usually, yes. At 30mm, concrete weighs about 70kg a square metre, close to granite or quartz, so cabinets that would carry a stone top will carry this one. Weight, in figures

How much looking after does it need?

Warm water, a soft cloth and a drop of washing-up liquid, day to day. The seal is rated to 149°C, about 50 degrees hotter than boiling water, so a pan of pasta goes straight down. A frying pan off a high flame goes on a board. A worn patch is lightly sanded and recoated in place, without refinishing the whole top. Caring for concrete

Should I just get concrete-effect quartz instead?

Concrete-effect quartz copies the colour. A cast top is the real material, made to your template in any shape. Concrete vs quartz vs sintered stone

Concrete is a material you have to handle. Pick up to five tablets and they come to you free, anywhere in the UK, each one sealed like a finished worktop. So spill something on it.

Screen colours are a guide, so pick the ones you’d like to hold. Each comes in both finishes.

No cost, no obligation. Every worktop is backed by our 5-year guarantee.
