What arrives

Each tablet is 50 × 50 × 10 mm, cast concrete with the ROKA logo pressed into the face, sealed exactly as a finished worktop would be. You get five as standard. Every worktop comes in two standard finishes, cream or salt and pepper. You can put it wet, put it on a radiator, spill wine on it and leave it overnight. We'd rather you found out what the material does now than after it's in your kitchen.

If you're within about fifty miles of Small Dole — Brighton, Worthing, Horsham, Haywards Heath, Lewes and the towns around them — we'd rather deliver them ourselves. A colour behaves differently in the room it's going into, under that room's light, than it does anywhere else. It also means you can ask the awkward questions to someone's face.

What happens next

  1. We reply within two working days to confirm what we're sending.
  2. Samples go out in the post, or we arrange a time to bring them if you're local.
  3. That's it. We won't ring you repeatedly. If you want to take it further, you'll tell us.

The questions people actually ask

Are they really free?

Yes. No charge, no postage cost, no catch. We'd rather you handled the material before committing thousands of pounds to it.

Will I get chased?

No. We'll confirm what we're sending and then leave you alone unless you get back in touch. You can ask for samples eighteen months before you're ready and that's completely normal — most people do.

How many can I have?

Ask for what you need. If you're choosing between four colours, have four.

Can I get a custom colour matched?

Yes. We match to a paint reference, a tile, a fabric or a physical sample. Mention it in the form and we'll talk it through.

I'm a kitchen designer — can I have a set for the studio?

Yes, and we'd rather you did. Tell us in the form and we'll put together a fuller set.
